2021 Covid-19 Cancellation and Postponement Policy
Deposits & Payment
A deposit of 50% of the order total is required within 3 business days from the date your invoice is sent. Your order is not confirmed until this deposit has been received by me. This is required due to buying the fresh ingredients needed to make your cake as well as intricate work that may need to be planned for in advance. I accept bank transfers and cash by arrangement.
The full balance must be paid 14 days before the event. In the case of the balance not being settled, all monies already paid will be forfeited and the date may be open for other clients' orders.
Any order placed within 10 days of the event date are required to pay the full amount when ordering.
Once I have received a deposit from you, this confirms that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Cancellation
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order with Whisk Cakes, you will receive a refund of the entire cake price less the deposit. If you have only paid the 50% desposit you will forfeit this amount. If you cancel a cake 10 or less days before the delivery date, you will forfeit all monies paid. Any order placed within 14 days of the delivery date is required to be paid in full when ordering
Alterations
You can make changes to the design or size of your cake up to 1 month before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly and a new invoice will be issued.

Liability
Whisk Cakes are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 25 degrees or below. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Whisk Cakes’ possession.

Photography Agreement
On occasion I will photograph my cakes and I reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. If you prefer me not to use your photographs, please notify me before your event. I like to include photos that you send to me of your special event as testimonals on my website. Again, if you would prefer me to not use photos that you send me, please notify me.
Licensed Images
Unfortunately, Whisk Cakes are unable to create cakes which depict licensed images and logos, such as Disney, Marvel, Pixar etc. as I do not hold a license to produce these images. Due to licensing laws, legal action can be taken against Whisk Cakes or any cake decorator who uses these images on their cakes.
I am however, able to create themed cakes which do not use any images or logos related to these characters for you, as a customer, to place a bought licensed image or toy on later.
